Each week, North Fulton Sports Report honors and highlights a student athlete who performed at an elite level within their sport.

This week’s NFSR Athlete of the Week is Paris Miller of Johns Creek High School.

Miller, a junior on Johns Creek’s girls basketball team, scored over 30 points in both of the Gladiators’ games last week. The athletic guard posted 36 points in a win over Riverwood and 32 points in a loss at Cambridge.

Several basketball recruiting outlets have Miller ranked in the Top 30 of her class nationally, with the highest ranking (No. 10) coming from Blue Star Basketball. She currently holds college offers from Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss.

Miller transferred to Johns Creek from Luella prior to the 2020-21 season and immediately stepped into a leading role for the Gladiators. Johns Creek (14-9, 9-4) is currently third in the Region 7-6A standings with one game remaining in the regular season.

A top-four finish in the region tournament would put Johns Creek in the state playoffs for the fourth year in a row.
